Privacy Policy

This page describes the privacy practices ofpapers.matricvault.co.za — a static catalog of South African NSC past exam papers. It does not cover the Matric Vault mobile/web app itself, which has its own privacy policy covering accounts, sign-in, and the AI Tutor.

What this site collects

This site does not have user accounts, does not use cookies for tracking, and does not collect any personal information directly. It serves static pages describing past exam papers.

Hosting and standard logs

This site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like virtually all web hosting, the hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operational purposes. This is standard server access logging, not used by us to identify individuals.

Advertising

If this site displays advertising (e.g. via Google AdSense), the advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this or other websites. Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.

Links to the Matric Vault app

Every paper page links to the Matric Vault app (app.matricvault.co.za), which is a separate product with its own privacy policy covering account data, sign-in, and AI Tutor usage.
